Objective Strucutured Clinical Examination (OSCE)

The Faclty of Medicine at the Libyan International University held a workshop on Tuesday evening 12/29/2020 entitled Objective Strucutured Clinical Examination (OSCE). The workshop was given by Dr. Rafiq Al Mahdawi to a number of heads of department and faculty members. Faclty of Medicine adopts this type of clinical examination on the evaluation of students in practice. This exam consists of a number of stations agreed in advance by the examination committee for each department. All students in the classroom are exposed to the same stations in the same manner and at the same time. Each station contains a medical condition or definition of surgical tools or data interpretation from which the student can derive a diagnosis, and others. The student knows what is required of him/her within each station by writing the required instructions and questions to be discussed on each station outside and inside the station.
