World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is an annual global event to be revived in December each year, the commemoration of this day was the result of a decision by the World Health Organization, where the UN General Assembly stressed its importance. Since then, the rule of the HIV patient has been transformed from a \”Death Sentence\” to a chronic and manageable patient, with 35 million people worldwide suffering from the disease, and many still do not receive treatment.

The day will be revived at the headquarters of the Libyan International Medical University.

The Libyan Society for Medical Students and Young Doctors, under the supervision of the Standing Committee on Reproductive Health and AIDS, in cooperation with the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Libya.
