The Faculty of Medicine Continues to Discuss and Follow up on International Accreditation Standards for the Faculty

The follow-up committee of the local and international accreditation procedures at the faculty of medicine held its regular meeting to discuss the progress of implementing several required standards and requirements and to identify the necessities in implementation and approving what has been accomplished.

The dean of the faculty, Prof. Jamal Al-Talhi, who chaired the meeting, stressed the importance of community and environmental service standards and the need to apply practical mechanisms rather than relying upon the theoretical aspect solely, as well as an opportunity to shift this into practical operational procedures.

The meeting was attended by the vice dean and the faculty staff, in addition to the director of the community service office at the university and the director of the quality assurance office at the faculty of applied medical sciences.
