The fourth-year students of Faculty of Medicine received training session on how to apply some clinical skills, such as cricothyroidotomy. Such skills are taught in the Clinical Skills Laboratory of the Libyan International University as part of Foundation course syllabus and under the supervision of a number of members of the specialized laboratory team
This operation is used as a life saving procedure, in cases of obstruction of the airways and the patient becomes unable to breathe.
